I wish this place was open more because we'd eat there breakfast, lunch, and dinner! There are many days when my boyfriend and I are trying to pick a place to grab dinner only to remember that Edany is closed for the day. *sad face* Food is stupendous and the staff is some of the nicest we've encountered in this city! If you haven't eaten here yet, DO EET!

I ordered the portabella sandwich and yes, it was pretty good. The side of cole slaw with it was okay - but seemed to need a kick to pair it with such a good sandwich. I don't give sandwich places 5 stars - and I can't give it a 4.5. Well if it had perhaps 1/2 ounce more portabella, a little more spinach and perhaps just a hair less seasoned butter on the toasted bread - well, then we might be talking 5 star territory. Would I come back.. Yes, Definitely.

Highly recommend. The owner went out of her way to deliver to us even though we were farther than normal delivery area. The lentil salad is amazing as is the shrimp and grits. We found a new favorite restaurant in traverse city!

Don't judge this book by the cover: Looks like not a place you'd want to eat inside of. But don't let that stop you. Get the truffle fries. Pass on the calamari fries and frog legs. Get the smokehouse and the Cuban. Both are excellent and merit a return visit when, hopefully, they will be in a new building,

Great place. The food is great!! Service by Paul was very attentive. We were a party of 4 and we ordered the following: BLT sandwich with the bacon perfectly cooked and a delicious pesto mayo, Smokehouse which was pulled chicken with Gouda and homemade bbq sauce, and the rabbit ravioli which was perfectly fried and in a delicious rabbit Au jus. Never tasted anything like it and would go back again. There is so much more to try on their menu like the shrimp and grits looked good. You MUST try this place. Definitely a foodie restaurant.

Stopped here with my mom while we were in town visiting. The food and service were incredible! I had the Smokehouse sandwich and she had the "Ants on a Log Salad." We were both so impressed with the quality and taste. Real ingredients and lots of thoughtful prep went into it. Also, GET TRUFFLE FRIES! You will not be disappointed. I'm so glad we came here and can't wait to come back!

We stopped here for lunch thinking it would just a sandwich joint but we were so pleasantly surprised! The Monte Cristo was delist. We came back 2 days later with the rest of the family and had the Truffle Fries, Brussels bacon soup, Shrimp an Grits, Smoke House, The Cuban and the BLT. The 6 of us were not disappointed. We plan on going back and trying all the Brunch items. Hat's off the the Chefs!!!

It really doesn't get any better than this... Another yelper said drop your phone and head over. DO IT. What a wonderful experience and amazing food. Seriously, turn around. Head directly there and enjoy the goodness that is about to meet your mouth. Do not be fooled by the outside. Get in there!!! Order some truffle fries and your worries will melt away. The tacos are also excellent. You won't regret it.

Great. Saw the reviews and decided to stop. Quaint, good service, good food, good prices.

I just ate at here for the first time today. Everything was great. I'm defiantly recommending this place to others

Don't let the outside of the building fool you, I ordered the bacon mac and cheese and its legit, the cheese is no joke, its so creamy and it feels like it melts in your mouth. I also had a side of soup (a cup) and it was very small for $3 but so good! After I finished we talked with the owners and learned that they get everything fresh and will change up their menu often whenever they feel like adding something, they were really nice!

Drop your phone and run to this place. Seriously. The food is amazing! We came for a very early dinner with the kids. We tried both kinds of fries, a Smokehouse Sandwich, a Cuban sandwich and the BLT. Every single sandwich was delicious. The truffle fries are insane. We spoke to the chef/owner after we finished eating. The cherry on top of this is that he is as concerned with the quality of ingredients as the taste. He's using a lot of local and organic products. Edany BLT for the win!!

Saw it in the way up to wine country, had to stop on the way home. Very glad we did. There were 4 of us, all of us were happy with the food, prices, and the staff. It will be a place we will visit it again the next time we are back in the area.

Went back for another lunch with a friend and again the food was exceptional. First I had the borscht... Some people would think really? Beet soup? But yes probably some of the best borscht I've ever had and I'm Polish. I had the Cuban dip sandwich and the truffle fries and both were amazing. Some might think a sandwich made primarily with pork might be greasy but this was not, the meet was tender the bread was perfect & the dip itself not too spicy. The truffle fries are one of the best finds I've had the pleasure of discovering in Traverse City. Eat here, trust me!

Tried this place for lunch today. Cautiously. The past food establishments in this spot have not been successful. However this place is really fun and the food is adventurous and well executed. My friend and I shared several dishes: Calamari Fries. They really look like fries! The rings are cut and stretched out then deep fried with a crispy, possibly panko? coating. It's served with a thick, traditional tartar sauce. They were tasty, could have used some salt. Heirloom Tomato Risotto. The special today. The tomatoes were fresh local cherry tomatoes. The risotto was executed nicely, al dente. Very good. Asparagus Salad. The best thing we had. Nice salad greens, perfectly cooked asparagus spears with a poached egg on top. Delicious! Smokehouse Sandwich. We really enjoyed this, too. Smokey shredded chicken, bacon, fried shallots and cheese in grilled brioche. How could that not be good? My only complaint: Slightly small portion for an $8 sandwich. But, even so, I'd order it again. The owner waited on us and he was very friendly and welcoming. The service was slow. Obviously. They're cooking every thing fresh to order and I appreciate that, but it would be hard to run in and out during a lunch break. They do deliver, however, and there were lots of to -go orders heading out. I will be back to try the Cuban French Dip sandwich!

Just had a great lunch at Edany. My wife said the egg salad sandwich was excellent (and different). My smokehouse chicken sandwich was also excellent. The eggs Benedict were excellent. I'm sure that we'll have some failures as we continue to go back in the future, but it's been a great start. Downsides: limited seating (20) so often can't get in at lunch time. No restroom! Limited menu.

Don't be alarmed by its lack of right angles, Edany has absolutely delicious food! I ordered the B.L.T. and loved it! The truffle fries are out of this world and only $3! Today, they had a cabbage soup on special that was also awesome. Everything on the menu is very affordable -- they could charge way more, but are cool folks who understand that a good meal doesn't have to empty your pocket (a rare find in Traverse City). Not great for eat-in dining (yet) -- they have some decorating to do. There is a potentially cool section of the restaurant in the works: a bar that looks right into the kitchen! Until they figure all their design stuff out, take advantage of their FREE delivery!! I hope Edany sticks around! I love the food! Great work

This is our second visit and definitely not our last! The truffle fries are awesome. The Cuban and Smokehouse are excellent. Their take on an egg salad sandwich is excellent....deconstructed with recognizable egg and a yummy tapinade. Don't be fooled by the exterior, it is s hidden gem!
